Civic and a little Council
Widow with four sons, three daughters in law and seven grandchildren.   A new councillor, Maureen has got stuck in with a number of roles – she is on the Planning sub committee, a Governor of St Mary’s School and a trustee of the Borough Silver Band and a member of Age Concern. She has long been a member of St John’s Choir and also The Griffon Choir and she was already a Governor of Pennar Community School before becoming a town councillor.  Other voluntary work includes the WRVS and Friends of South Pembs Hospital.  Other interests include theatre and travel.
